Gamified Learning Module

Challenge: Inspection data noted a 13% decrease in mastery of safety and sanitation inspection questions in kitchen staff ages 15-18.
Solution: Create a scenario based e-learning module to address learning gaps in safety and sanitation standards to kitchen staff ages 15-18.
Tools: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Canva
Process
I began by consulting with SME and creating an action map to identify the objectives. After, I wrote a text-based storyboard to sort information into chunks, develop game challenges, and characters.
Using this as a guide, I created a prototype in Figma in order to ideate and refine ideas. After getting feedback from stakeholders, I set to full development using Articulate Storyline.
Data and KPI
Increase safety and sanitation test scores by 13% after 2-week immersive learning to ensure mastery of content to pass inspection. After completion of the course, I meet back with stakeholders to discuss data and plan future learning modules.
